Oversee digital event business operations for PGA Championship events.

Collaborate with the Championships Team and Commercial Team departments to create a best-in-class digital event business strategy across media, marketing, content and technology.

Work with the various teams to create opportunities that lead to greater digital exposure of PGA Championship events with the goal of increasing KPIs across all digital channels, such as ratings, viewership, engagement and income.

RESPONSIBILITIES (Specific areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to):

Oversee digital partnership operations with PGA broadcast and digital media partners.

Oversee the creation of clear and concise digital execution plans for each event by partnering with internal and external content, technology, product, marketing, sales and brand teams. Develop strategy and priorities for innovative improvements to the event site.

Oversee the activation of digital partnerships across digital channels, whether partner advertising sales or business development.

Initiate and manage new digital business development activities with partners. Participate in the production of term sheets, regularly report status and act as account manager for the ongoing relationship.

Develop project management organizational constructs that facilitate clear communication and collaboration between the various external PGA and matrix teams. Example: pre-event launches and post-event recap efforts in internal digital services.

Be a good steward of PGA Championship events, monitoring event site functionality and rights violations by outside media; helps with real-time reporting.

Act as primary digital liaison with the Championships department on digital efforts including strategy, marketing, content, revenue, etc.

Collaborate with individual tournament directors to create engaging and profitable digital strategies for their events.

Create engagement and digital revenue opportunities for “at the event” experiences.

Determine digital team needs for onsite event operations and coordinate logistics to ensure optimal accommodation for execution.
