Cirrus Logic Inc (RAW – Free Report) delivered strong results in the second quarter of fiscal 2023, with both upper and lower results beating the Zacks consensus estimate and increasing year over year.

Balance sheet and cash flow
The company ended the fiscal second quarter with cash and marketable securities of $427.9 million, up from $379.3 million as of June 25.
As of September 24, accounts receivable were $304.6 million, compared to $206.3 million recorded as of June 25.
During the second fiscal quarter, the company reported $36 million in net cash from operations, compared to $29 million in the prior year quarter.
The company repurchased 582,876 shares worth $50 million during the quarter under review. As of Sept. 24, the company had $586.1 million of shares remaining under its existing stock repurchase authorization. The company also announced an additional stock buyback worth $500 million during the fiscal first quarter.
For the third quarter of fiscal 2023, the company expects revenue between $520 million and $580 million. R&D and general and administrative expenses combined are expected to be between $153 million and $159 million. Gross margin should be 49-51%.
